Congratulations! You're now an upline! That's not only an honor, but also a responsibility! Now what do you do? Don't let it be overwhelming. There are some very simple things you can do to help them be successful.
Many people have quit other networking companies because they didn't get upline support. However, one of the toughest points for a new representative is that they are still learning this business for themselves, and at the same time trying to train someone that they have sponsored. That's where the automated web-based training comes in. You can literally be brand new, sponsor a new rep, and point them to this website for thorough training and support.
In addition, here are some guidelines below to support and grow your organization. In the early stages of your business, it requires more time and effort spent supporting and growing your Reps. Eventually we get to the point where we don't have to support it anymore, because we have properly trained others to do the same. That is the beauty of this business model, that you can create residual, walkaway income.
1. USE THE SYSTEM FOR SPONSORING AND TRAINING
Why is this so important?
- Set up your new Rep. for success
- Duplication (we get paid up to 6 levels deep in our organizations)
2. WORK WITH YOUR NEW REP AT LEAST EVERY OTHER DAY
Why is this necessary?
- Although they are supposed to call you for support, many won't. You need to call them immediately to keep them from getting buyer's remorse, to reassure them they are not on their own, to keep them focused, and help them through any rejections they may experience.
How do you go about doing this?
- 3-way them with each of your upline partners immediately when signing them up. Your uplines can then help to support them as well.
- Get them on Terry's or Eric's email update list right away.
- Prompt them into action by offering to do 3-way calls with them, and asking them how you can support them.
When do you stop this?
- When they become solid in the business(or become Executive), then you can slow down - but still keep regular contact.
- If they are not taking action no matter what you do, or if they are not following the plan, or argue with you on how to do this business, move on!
3. Do 3ways either over the phone or in person
Why?
- You have no idea what your new representative needs help with until you see them in action!
- This also shows the prospect the system and support that will be available.
- If some questions come up your representative cannot answer, you are there for additional support... which trains your Rep. at the same time.
- 3rd party validation
- Add your enthusiasm and support - it's a confidence builder to have someone else on your side, and your representative will be more confident

- Establish a relationship
- Tell your story
- Answer questions
- 3rd party verification
- Ask questions - Why are you looking into this, what do you need to know before you get going

4. KEEP PERSONAL TRACK OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING
How?
- Make a manila file folder on them
- Write down names of people they are working with, with details
- Keep notes from 3-way calls you do with them
Why?
-Helps you help them keep track of everything
-You know specific people to ask about when you're talking to them
-If they're not taking enough action to reach their goals in the time they set, this lets you point that out to them, as well as the fact that they must either take more action to make up for lost time, or decrease their goals and financial expectation.
5. BE AN UNENDING SUPPLY OF INSPIRATION FOR YOUR DOWNLINE!
Why?
They will run into enough negative - you need to be their source of positive assurance.
How can you do this?
-Listen to positive/motivational tapes
-Stay "in the trenches" yourself
-Always look at the positive side, and convey only positive information or stories to your downline. Never speak negatively to your downline about anything, no matter what.
-"When you're down, call up. When you're up, call down."
6. TEACH THEM TO ALWAYS KEEP THEIR "PIPELINE" FULL WITH A LIST OF 100 + NAMES
Why is this critical?
They will always have someone to talk to about this business.

8. MATCH THEIR ACTIVITY LEVEL
If they are not doing anything, you cannot afford to waste time with them. If they are, spend as much time as you can with them!
9. ALWAYS BE AT THE FLY INS
The simple fact is: Those who are at the Fly Ins every single month, are rocketing past those who don't. Think you don't need to be there? That PROVES you need to be! Are you Blue Diamond yet?
